Artist’s Statement

“My art is centered around a passion for delineating the human form.  The artists who inspired me are Michelangelo and Alphonse Mucha.  I strive to depict the inner beauty of my subjects and to emphasize the nobility of the human spirit.  Wonder and Truth are themes incorporated in my work.  I strive to bridge the gap between commercial art and what is considered to be fine art.  As both an illustrator and a photographer, strong composition is key.  I work in traditional media and in Adobe Illustrator on a Macintosh.”
