Pamela Sexton
Pamela Sexton paints with rich oil colors on fine canvas in the classic manner. She accepts commissions to paint portraits of people, pets (horses, dogs, cats, birds, etc.), events and landscapes. Portraits can be done from a good photograph, which will be returned. She is represented by The Gallery, in the Black Bear Building in Mt. Shasta City, California, where she exhibits her paintings of the beautiful and wild country of Siskiyou County, California. Giclee limited edition prints and greeting cards are available.
Pamela has always been passionate about painting, and was inspired by her great-grandmother, Nellie Violet Scheinert, a well-known and respected artist in her time. Pamela studied at Grand Canyon Baptist College, and has gained knowledge and experience through over 30 years of oil painting. She is a lifelong horsewoman and animal lover, a member of the Siskiyou Artists Association, and a friend to the Siskiyou Arts Council. Pam’s work is featured on the Art Giving Heart DVD video, produced by SAC in 2004.
