“Looking back over my life so far, I would have to say that I’ve pretty much always had a camera in hand and have enjoyed photography since around the age of 13 years old.  Soaking up all there was to see around me, trying to find a way to capture things with a perspective that might almost make the viewer feel as though they were right there when looking at the image in print.  Over time, I participated as a member of the school newspaper and the yearbook staff as a section editor and photographer.

More recently, I have ventured out with my photographic efforts and have enjoyed taking portraits, headshots for pageants, high school senior pictures, creating pageant program book ad layouts, and participating as a photographer for a community online website.  Aside from enjoying all the portrait type work, I am quite drawn to landscape photography.  Now-a-days, I rarely leave my home without my camera in tow!

It was an honor to be the pageant photographer and program book editor, providing the graphics, design and cover photo for the Miss Zephyrhills, Miss Friendly City and Miss Zephyrhills Jaycess Outstanding Teen 2008 Pageants in Florida.   I also had the wonderful opportunity to be the photographer for the Miss Florida Pageant’s Orientation weekend in May.  Weddings are an event that I truly look forward to, as I seek to capture the true essence of that very special moment when two hearts are joined as one.

It is the highest reward for me personally when an image I take touches another’s heart in some way or teleports them back in time to a special place or memory, and what a thrill to be able to create a keepsake of a treasured moment for another….”
