Artist Statement

“Hello, my name is Chris Wimer.  I am an artist of the Southwest Native People.  My tribes are the Yaqui, Tarahumara and the Cahuilla peoples.  I became an artist in my late teens to express myself and find a positive outlet.  I am a follower of my traditional beliefs and all my art work holds meaning to my life.  I am taught there is only one circle of life we all have an equal role in.  It is up to us all to express our spirit in a way our heart tells us.
